Job Description

The Sharepoint Systems Security Administrator will be under the direction of the HRIS Manager in the Corporate Human Resources Department. This is a technical role where the candidate will lead a project to develop security measures to safeguard information. Evaluate and maintain system security across various systems/applications to ensure compliance with HR audits, policies and processes as well as SOX regulatory. Systems and applications include but not limited to SharePoint, JDEdwards and Talent Connection. Coordinate with appropriate subject matter experts within the company to develop and implement security policies and procedures (e.g., user log-on and authentication rules, security breach escalation procedures, security auditing procedures). Train end users on policies and procedures. Monitor, identify, investigate and resolve issues related to security breaches, unauthorized access, or potential security risks. Day to day administration of systems and user IDs which include creation, deletion and modifications. Acts as a liaison between functional users and technical support representatives i.e. Information Technology, HR System Vendors. Generates and executes User Acceptance Testing plans and scenarios, and documents results for system updates and changes. Maintains confidential data and deals with sensitive information in a professional manner. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills with the ability to work independently and with a team.

Job Requirements

3-5+ years experience as a SharePoint site administrator. Must be well organized, detail-oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments and deadlines. Proficiency with Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills. Technical expertise in systems administration and security tools, combined with knowledge of security best-practices, procedures and implementation practices. Organizational skills for planning and prioritizing work. Good analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills. Ability to express to end users technical information in a non-technical manner. Ability to write logical and comprehensible procedures. Excellent oral and written communications skills for communicating to management, Internal Audit, user community, and security violators. Ability to multi-task. Pro-active and responsible self starter who is highly motivated. Ability to work in groups as well as independently with minimal supervision.
